2009 marks the 27th consecutive season of the Lake Tahoe Music Festival. Founded in 1982 by Edgar Braun, conductor of the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, the Festival has grown in scope yearly with the dedication and involvement of many local residents and businesses.
With its scenic venues, over 12,000 expected attendees and the diverse programming of our concert season, the Lake Tahoe Music Festival remains the largest summer cultural event benefiting our local communities and a major attraction throughout the West.
